Eczema is more likely to present itself in black people at a higher rate than our racial counterparts. Understanding that Black people’s skin profile is often dry and sensitive requires us to consider more natural products which are high in moisturiser and hydration, with no perfume, chemicals and preservatives - natural is the way forward for black people when it comes to skincare.
At Nzema Appolo our top free recommendations for eczema treatment is; unrefined shea butter for dry and sensitive skin, baobab oil for normal skin and and jojoba oil for oily skin.
